The Riddell District Football Netball League (RDFNL) is an Australian rules football and netball league in Victoria, covering towns across the Macedon Ranges and areas from Melton and Rockbank in the south to Kyneton and Lancefield in the north. Melton Toyota has been a major partner of the RDFNL for over 20 years, supporting its growth and community engagement.
Melbourne Runabout & Speedboat Club
Established in 1957, the Melbourne Runabout and Speedboat Club (M.R.S.B.C.) promotes the use of all classes of power boats and offers a safe, welcoming venue for boat racing, social skiing, and tournament events, including slalom, tricks, jumping, knee boarding, and wakeboarding. The club is affiliated with the Australian Power Boat Association (APBA), Victorian Water Ski Association (VWSA), and Australian Water Ski Association (AWSA), among others. The Harrison family has been a prominent name in boat racing across two generations, and Melton Toyota is proud to be part of this enduring legacy.
Melton Valley Golf Course
Melton Valley Golf Club offers a scenic and challenging 18-hole course for golfers of all levels. Established in 1932, the club is known for its welcoming community, pristine greens, and abundant wildlife. Visitors can enjoy the clubhouse's amenities, including a pro shop, practice areas, and a cosy café. Melton Toyota has supported the club for many decades and offers free golf passes to service guests—just request one when booking your service.
Melton Football and Netball Club
The Melton Football Club, known as the Bloods, was formed in 1879 and initially played in the Bacchus Marsh District Football Association, winning ten premierships between 1913 and 1972. The club moved to the Riddell District Football League in 1973 and later joined the Ballarat Football League in 1997. Our own Brian "Nabby" McNabb ensures that Melton Toyota continues its strong support of the Bloods, a partnership that has spanned over 20 years, with the dealership looking forward to many more years of support.
Western Ram Football and Netball
The Western Rams Football Sporting Club, nicknamed the Rams, is an Australian rules football club affiliated with the Western Football Netball League. Formerly known as the Rockbank Football Club until 2021, the Rams made a significant comeback in June 2024, breaking a long losing streak with their first win since 2018. Melton Toyota has a long and trusted relationship with the Rams, supporting their journey over the years.
Aintree Cricket Club
The Aintree Cricket Club is a community-focused cricket club dedicated to promoting the sport at all levels. With a strong emphasis on inclusivity and participation, the club offers programs for juniors and seniors, fostering talent and teamwork. The Aintree Cricket Club aims to provide a welcoming environment for players and families while encouraging a love for the game. Through training sessions, competitions, and community events, the club plays a vital role in the local sporting landscape. Riddell Umpires Association
Riddell Umpires take pride in training and developing some of the finest officials in the game, providing high-quality goal, boundary, and field umpires for both junior and senior competitions in the Riddell District Football Netball League. With the essential role umpires play, ensuring the game goes on, Melton Toyota is proud to have been a major supporter of the Riddell Umpires for over 15 years.
Darley Cricket Club
Darley Cricket Club, also known as the Darley Lions. Darley is a friendly and family based cricket club. They offer teams for all abilities, from those looking to be the best to those looking for a great way to spend time playing a game they love. Darley have five senior teams and a women's team as well as junior teams from Under 11s to Under 17s. Melton is proud to be associated with Darley Cricket Club
Bacchus Marsh Football and Netball Club
The Bacchus Marsh Football and Netball Club, established in 1881, is a historic Australian rules football and netball club based in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria. Competing in the Ballarat Football League, part of the Victorian Country Football League, the club has a strong legacy and a promising future. Melton Toyota has recently signed a multi-year contract to support this professional club, further strengthening its ongoing success.
Friends Melton Botanic Gardens
The Friends of the Melton Botanic Garden, through the efforts of dedicated volunteers, have developed extensive community gardens around Lakewood Blvd Melton. Their mission is to enrich both the community and the environment by fostering and supporting the garden's growth and activities. Volunteers maintain the garden through work teams and special events, adding new garden beds and engaging schools and community groups. The Friends promote the garden at various events, including MBG Open Days, guided tours, and on social media. All funds are raised through plant sales, raffles, donations, and grants, with no paid staff involved—just passionate volunteers. If you haven't visited the gardens, you should! You will be amazed by what they are creating. Melton Toyota has donated over 300 plants, sponsored furniture and continue as proud members of the group for over 15 years.
Alliance Power Network
The Regional Victoria Power Alliance has launched the STOP AUSNET'S TOWERS campaign. For over three years locals have been voicing their opposition to the dangerous and ill-conceived high voltage transmission project the Western Renewables Link (WRL) since 2021. There a many local communities that will be affected by the proposed VNI West transmission line interconnector between Victoria and NSW and we think this is an important cause to support. If you don't know about these towers we urge you to investigate the plans for yourself, before it's too late.
Variety Bash
The Variety Bash is an annual event featuring a vibrant convoy of creatively themed cars traveling through some of Australia's most stunning and remote landscapes. Participants navigate diverse terrains, from outback tracks to coastal roads, with a central mission to raise money and awareness for children in need while having fun along the way. Melton Toyota's first year supporting this charity was 2024, and in 2025, Grant and friends will join the event themselves, embarking on this famous fundraising for the first time. Something tells us the result will be some stellar fundraising and a lot of fun!
Melton & Moorabool L2P
The Melton/Moorabool L2P program helps young local disadvantaged youth between 16-21 years of age attain their required 120 hours driving practice to gain their licence through assistance from volunteer mentors. Melton Toyota havesupported the program since it's inception in 2009. We believe stringly in their mission to change young peoples lives through mentoring and independance
